His real name is Zachee Ama Orji but popularly known as Zack Orji. He is a Nigerian actor, producer, director, filmmaker and an entrepreneur.
Zack was born on the 10th of October 1960 in Librevile, Gabon. He grew up in Cameroon, Togo and Benin where he had his primary and secondary education. He is from Nsukka, in Enugu State, in south eastern Nigeria. He is the eldest in a family of 7 children.
Educational Background
Zack Orji had his primary and secondary education in Gabon, Cameroon and Togo where he had his first and secondary school certificates respectively. He later went to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in Enugu State to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Estate Management. He speaks English and French fluently.
It was revealed that the father actually wanted him to study medicine, but as fate would have it, the dream of becoming a doctor was defeated and Zack ended up studying a different course in the University.
His Acting Career
Zack Orji joined the Nigerian Movie Industry in 1991 and acted in his first ever movie “Unforgiven Sins”, a movie that brought him to fame and recognition in Nollywood.
He became more and more popular in a blockbuster movie, “Glamour Girls”. The same movie shot him to fame and earned him fortune in the industry.
Zack Orji is also referred as one of the Pioneers and legends in Nollywood who has contributed immensely to the growth and development of Nigerian Movie industry.
