He was born in the year 1999 in Lagos. He hails from Kogi State but grew up in Lagos State where he had his primary and secondary education respectively. His parents are from Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Nigeria. Ruger is the only son among his siblings and he clocked 23 as at 2023.

Ruger began his music career dated back to his young age in his local church as a choir.
He was also a member of musical band in his secondary school when he used to entertain people at different shows and event centres in Lagos.
