Favour Etuk is his real name, but widely and professionally known as Kaptain. He is a fast upcoming Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter.

He was born in Benin City, Edo State on January 18, 1990. Kaptain hails from Akwa Ibom in south southern Nigeria.

Kaptain did his primary and secondary education respectively in Benin City, Edo State. Upon graduation from secondary school, he made full career in music.

Kaptain made entry into the music world at an early age when he used to perform as a dancer in numerous shows in his school and local community.

He gained professional prominence in music, having built on his skills and recorded his first-ever single in 2012 which became a viral hit.
