He was born on April 28, 1994 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He hails from Ezeagu community in Enugu State, in south eastern Nigeria.

King Perryy had his primary and secondary education in the south eastern Nigeria.

He later bagged a degree in Project Management at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State.

King Perryy began his music journey, dated back to his days in the secondary school when he used to sing and entertain his friends and close associates.

He became professionally known in music in 2014 when he released “Walakolombo”, a song production which was credited to Silktunez, guitar by Fiokee but mixed and mastered by SWAPS.

King Perryy was influenced greatly in his music career after listening to the likes of Bob Marley, Westlife, Sean Paul and Alex Zitto and others. He thereafter creatively crafted out his own music, known as Afro Dancehall.

King Perryy’s sound is a sultry blend of Afro Dancehall with influence from music like-minds such as Gyptian, Shabba Ranks, Popcaan and so on.

The exceptionally talented singer also featured on Erriga’s single “Corporate” which became an instant hit, gaining massive airplay across radio and television stations across the country.
