She was born on September 19, 2001 in South London. Not much is known about her upbringing. Her educational background is also not available, though information had it that she attended one of the private schools in Yaba area of Lagos State before relocating to London for her further studies.

Darkoo kick-started her music career at a very young age of six, when she made an impressive performance in talent show, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj’s Beauty and a Beat.
She built on her talents and eventually released her first work, titled “Gas Station” in 2017. The single climbed to the number 22 spot on the Official Singles Chart in January 2020. It had earlier been the number 34 song on the chart as of November 2019.
In 2023, she lent her vocals to the remix of Body by Russ Millions and Tion Wayne. The song, which was released in April, got to the number one position on the Official Singles Chart.
February 2022 was another giant stride in Darkoo’s music career. The brilliant singer and rapper took the Afrobeats and UK music industries by storm with the rap song, ‘Always’. She featured Ghanaian rapper, Black Sherif on the single.
